Tax Collectors are the only locally elected officials who come in contact with almost every citizen, providing the services to be able to drive, own a property and own a business. More simply put, we help our residents travel, live and work here in Orange County. Scott Randolph believes that being collaborative in our community is important to build relationships. Each and every day our staff works with non-profits, homeowners associations, chambers of commerce and other civic organizations that contribute so much to our community to ensure we are doing everything possible to serve customers and doing our part to better Orange County.

We’re proud to partner with AAA to ensure a safe community for Orange County residents and visitors.
March of Dimes
Premature birth (birth before 37 weeks of pregnancy) and its complications are the #1 cause of death of babies in the United States. Babies who survive premature birth often have long-term health problems. In the United States, about 380,000 babies are born prematurely each year. The preterm birth rate (the percent of babies born before 37 weeks each year) is 9.8 percent in the United States. This means 1 in 10 babies is born too soon. We are proud to partner with the March of Dimes, raising$20,000 each year, to go to help reduce premature birth in the United States and to give every baby a fair chance at a healthy life.
Lauren’s Kids educates adults and children about sexual abuse prevention through in-school curricula, awareness campaigns and speaking engagements around the country and the world. The organization also leads an annual, statewide “Walk in My Shoes” awareness walk across the state of Florida – 1,500 miles from Key West to Tallahassee – and provides more than 9-10 million education and awareness materials statewide through direct mail every year. The foundation has helped advocate for the passage of nearly two dozen laws to support survivors and protect children from predators. We’re proud to have a mural in our Winter Garden office that highlights Lauren’s Kids and its specialty license plate which raises awareness and funds to support their prevention efforts.
Central Florida Expressway Authority
The Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX) is an independent agency of the state. CFX operates and maintains a regional network of expressways that connect the City of Orlando, and Brevard, Lake, Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties, an area with 3 million residents. Vehicle owners can pay delinquent Pay By Plate invoices while renewing tags or driver’s licenses at all seven Orange County Tax Collector locations. Our partnership has made the process simple. Previously, motorists informed of registration or license holds while at a tax collector site were redirected to CFX for settling unpaid tolls and securing releases on holds. After doing so, motorists could return to a tax office to complete their renewals. CFX and the Orange County Tax Collector’s Office implemented the new process to save customers time and lessen frustrations they expressed when confronted with holds on their tag renewals.
Donate Life Florida is a non-profit 501(C)3 charitable organization. Established in 1997 as Florida Coalition on Donation, Inc., Donate Life Florida is dedicated to motivating Floridians to designate themselves as organ, tissue and eye donors, so lives are saved and enhanced through donation and transplantation. Today, more than 5,000 patients listed at Florida transplant centers await life-saving organ transplants. Many of these individuals may get a second chance at life due to the generosity of those who designate themselves as organ, tissue and eye donors on Florida’s organ and tissue donor Registry. Our office and Tax Collector’s Offices throughout the state typically register the most organ donors.
