Community Partnerships

Tax Collectors are the only locally elected officials who meet almost every citizen, providing the services to be able to drive, own property and own a business. More simply put, we help our residents travel, live and work here in Orange County. Scott Randolph believes that being collaborative in our community is important to build relationships. Each day our staff works with non-profits, homeowners’ associations, chambers of commerce and other civic organizations that contribute so much to our community.

Premature birth (birth before 37 weeks of pregnancy) and its complications are the #1 cause of death of babies in the United States. Babies who survive premature birth often have long-term health problems. In the United States, about 380,000 babies are born prematurely each year. The preterm birth rate (the percent of babies born before 37 weeks each year) is 9.8 percent in the United States. This means 1 in 10 babies is born too soon. We are proud to partner with March of Dimes, raising $20,000 each year to help reduce premature birth in the United States and to give every baby a fair chance at a healthy life.
